I've only had a DA account for a couple weeks, I know, but I'm already loving this site! I only wish I had been introduced to DA several years ago. The stunning art, the beautiful photography, the deep, philosophical poetry. I've even caught myself reading some mushy, romance poetry a time or two.

Ah. How perfect-------------ly full of BS!!! Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't mind finding that perfect partner, that one person you KNOW you could spend the rest of your life with, a person to share your deepest, darkest dreams and your closest secrets with, knowing your love will only grow stronger the more they discover about you. Unconditional love. Fearless love. That's what it's called. *shakes head* Haven't found her yet. Keep looking, I suppose.

I may only be 22 years old (I'm now 23! My birthday was last Thursday, October 8th! YAH!!!), but I've had my heart broken more times than I can count on two hands. But no matter how many times my relationships end in tears, I'll continue to pick my heart up from off the floor, piece it back together, and hand it over to someone else... hoping it'll be different.

Stupid, girl! Don't you ever learn?

Such is life. Take risks, get a few bruises, move on. One of my all-time favorite quotes is: "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning how to dance in the rain." Well, I'm officially soaked, but I'll keep right on dancing.

Okay. I've said enough. The point of all my rambling: I'm loving the site and I hope to continue to meet new friends here. Now, I really need to shut up!
